hapily Property Reference Guide Overview

hapily adds properties to three primary HubSpot object types to manage events, registrations, lead capture, and reporting.

Object

Purpose

Most Common Properties

Contact

Stores information about an individual and is used to trigger registrations and lead capture.

Registration Trigger, Event Registration Trigger, Session Registration Trigger, Event Lead Capture Trigger, Latest Event Lead Notes, Company LinkedIn URL

Event

Represents a single event and stores all event details, registration settings, venue information, and integrations.

Event Name, Start/End Date, Registration Page, Publish Event, Event Type, Meeting Link, Recording Link

Registrant

Represents a person’s registration for a specific event. A contact can have multiple registrant records—one for each event they attend.

Status, Registered Sessions, Calendar Invite Status, Check-In QR Code, Registrant Page URL, Payment Status


 

Contact Properties

These properties are added to standard HubSpot Contact records and are primarily used for registration, lead capture, automation, and follow-up.

Registration Properties

Property

Description

hapily Registration Trigger

Used to trigger a registration for an event or session based on the selected option.

Event Registration Trigger

When an Event Record ID is placed into this property (typically via a hidden form field), hapily creates a registration for that event.

Session Registration Trigger

When a Session Record ID is placed into this property, hapily creates a registration for that session.

Lead Capture Properties

Property

Description

Event Lead Capture Trigger

When an Event Record ID is added to this property, hapily creates an Event Lead association between the contact and event.

Event Lead Capture Notes

Notes collected during lead capture forms. These are copied to the Event Lead record.

Latest Event Lead Type

Categorizes the most recent lead captured for the contact.

Latest Event Lead Notes

Stores notes from the most recent lead capture interaction.

Latest Event Lead Next Steps

Recommended follow-up actions from the latest interaction.

Latest Event Lead User

The user who captured the lead.

Latest Event Lead Interest

The contact’s expressed interests during the event interaction.

Ticket Portal Link

Link where the contact can manage purchased event tickets. (Ticketing only)


 

Event Properties

The Event object stores all information related to a single event.

Short description displayed on event listings and registration pages.

Event Page Body Content

Rich text content shown on registration pages.

Featured Image

Image displayed on event listings and registration pages.

Start Date & Time

Event start date and time.

Event end date and time.

Time Zone

Event time zone.

Time Zone (Alternate)

Automatically generated display version of the event time zone.

Formatting Locale

Controls regional formatting for dates and times.

Display Date Format

Date format shown to registrants.

Display Time Format

Time format shown to registrants.

Display Start Date

System-generated formatted version of the event start date.

Display Start Time

System-generated formatted version of the event start time.

Display End Date

System-generated formatted version of the event end date.

Display End Time

System-generated formatted version of the event end time.

Registrant Limit

Maximum number of registrants allowed. Leave blank for unlimited registrations.

Registration Page

URL of the event registration page.

Registration Form

Link to the HubSpot form used for registration.

Publish Event?

Controls whether the event appears on CMS event listings.

Event Organization

Property

Event Type

High-level category used for automation and reporting.

Event Tag

Free-form tags for organizing events.

Event Topic

Topic used for CMS filtering and reporting.

Hosting Event?

Indicates whether your organization is hosting or attending the event.

Event Cost

Cost associated with producing the event.

Link to edit the lead capture form.

Determines whether the event is available in the Lead Capture app.

Calendar & Attendance

Description

In-Person Check-In Page

URL used for manually checking attendees into the event.

Google Calendar Link

Google Calendar invite link.

ICS Calendar Link

Downloadable ICS calendar invite.

Check-In Pin

PIN used by the Lead Capture or Check-In app to verify event check-ins.

External Integrations

Property

Description

External ID

Unique identifier from the connected external platform (such as Zoom).

External Source

Source system that owns the external event (for example, Zoom).

External Type

Type of external event (such as Meeting or Webinar).

Meeting Link

Primary meeting or virtual event join link.

Recording Link

Link to the event recording after the event concludes.

Recording Link Password

Password required to access the recording, if applicable.

Legacy & System Properties

Property

Description

Timezone (Deprecated)

Legacy timezone property retained for backwards compatibility.

Timezone Abbreviation (Deprecated)

Legacy timezone abbreviation property retained for backwards compatibility.

Migration Record ID

Internal ID used during migrations from previous versions of hapily.

Waitlist List

Internal HubSpot list used to manage the event waitlist.

Ticketing

Property

Description

Total Tickets Sold

Total tickets sold for the event.

Total Ticket Revenue

Total ticket revenue.

Total Ticket Refund Amount

Total refunded amount.

Total Ticket Refunded

Number of refunded tickets.


 

Registrant Properties

A Registrant represents one person’s registration for one event.

Associated contact’s last name.

Associated contact’s full name.

Associated contact’s email address.

Company Name

Associated contact’s company.

Unique identifier for a group registration.

Walkup Registration?

Indicates the registrant was registered onsite.

Personalized survey link sent after the event.

Current payment status for the registration.

Note: If an Event is updated after registrants already exist, hapily automatically syncs the event name, date/time fields, display fields, calendar links, and meeting link. Location fields are copied when the registrant is created and are not automatically updated afterward.


Zoom-Connected Properties

When a Zoom Meeting or Webinar is connected to a hapily Event (or Session), the following Event properties are automatically populated.

Note: If the Zoom meeting or webinar is updated (for example, the join URL changes), hapily automatically updates the Event record and re-syncs existing registrants so they receive the latest meeting information.
