How do I Manage Backup Quote Approvers?

Set backup quote approvers to keep the quote approval process running smoothly when the usual approvers are unavailable.

The quote•hapily backup approver feature allows you to designate an alternate approver for a specific date range for any of your quote•hapily users.

How to add a backup approver:

  1. Login to your quote•hapily admin portal
  2. Navigate to Settings > Users

  3. Click the Backup button on the user you need to set a backup for

  4. Select the backup approver and set a date range

  5. Click Save and you're done! 

Throughout the specified dates, all quote approval requests will be directed to the backup user. After the date range has passed, the backup user will be automatically removed, and quote approval requests will resume their normal routing.

 

How to view backup approvers:

To view current/upcoming backup approvers, go to the Settings > Users section. Users with a backup approver will appear in the Backup User column.

How To Remove Backup approvers:

To remove backup approvers, go to the Settings > Users section. Hover over the Backup Approver in the Backup User column and click the Remove Backup User button.
