Clone Attack allows you to clone individual records directly from the object record view in HubSpot—no workflows required. This is useful for one-off scenarios like duplicating a Deal for a new project, recreating a Ticket from a previous support request, or spinning up a new Company record with the same properties and associations.
You can customize what gets cloned (like properties, associations, or default values) by setting up different Clone Configurations.

Manual Cloning Example Use Case
You just closed a deal and want to immediately create a copy in a “Renewals” pipeline. Instead of building a workflow, simply open the Deal and click Clone It! to create the clone instantly—using a pre-set Clone Configuration that routes it to the right pipeline and stage.
How to Clone a Record Manually

Open the record you want to clone
(i.e. Deal, Ticket, Contact, or Company) -
Locate the Clone Attack app card and click “Clone It!”
On the right-hand side of the record view, you’ll see the Clone Attack app card.
If you don’t see it, you may need to customize your record view to display the card.

Complete the required fields
- Review and change the name field if desired.

Select the Clone Configuration that best fits your use case (e.g., “Renewals Deal”, “Upsell Ticket”).

Click “Clone Record”
Clone Attack will immediately create a new record using your configuration's settings. -
Done!
You’ll get a confirmation message once the record is cloned. Click the notification to view the newly created record.
